Cade Grayson Company- Sold
In the early 1980s, the Cade Grayson Company was selling dehydrated vegetables to food storage companies in the USA. But in 1983, its customer base started to reduce orders as a result of decreased demand for the products, which left Cade Grayson with large inventories and fewer customers.
Steve and his father, Wink Cade, discovered and built relationships with alternative market of food manufacturers for their dehydrated food products. This ultimately led to a ten-fold increase in revenues and the formation of a new company in Chile to increase the product supply. With the new Chilean operation and the creation of a nationwide sales and distribution system, Cade Grayson became the second largest supplier of dehydrated vegetables in the USA.
